Mar 29 Tens Tournament at Myreside Winners; Melrose
Competing Clubs;
Watsonian;
Melrose;.
RHC;
Edin Accies.
On a day that was blustery and cold, four clubs took part in the 10s competition.
Accies were somewhat depleted in numbers but were suitably augmented in turn by players of the other clubs.
Played on a league system, the final was between the top two clubs.
Melrose, as befitting favourites, duly took the trophy in their final with Watsonians.
This was marred with the coming of the rain and allied to the cold wind, all were glad to make the clubhouse. where the winners received the trophy from League secretary, John Stewart.
At this point, Rod Hathway must be given due thanks for his efforts in organising the day.
